New in 3.4: one ✨ Reply button, 3 drafts ↓Find the posts worth replying to. Pick from three drafts._
ReplyKit spots the X posts worth answering while you scroll. Hit ✨ Reply and it reads the post, picks the move that fits (a joke on an exact detail, a fact, a sharp question) and gives you three short drafts. They read like someone who knows the topic, not “Great point!”.
Scroll X → click a badge → pick one of 3 drafts → post it yourself. Drafting also works on LinkedIn and Reddit.
Works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers. No account needed to start. Claude Sonnet on every plan, free included.
Opportunity Radar_
Writing a reply is half the work. The other half is picking which post to answer. While you scroll X, Radar puts a small badge on the posts worth your time right now. It checks three things.
In your niche
The post matches one of the topics you listed in ReplyKit's settings.
A real audience
The author has enough followers for a reply to be seen. The floor is 1K by default. You can raise it to 10K or 100K, or turn it off.
Still early
Posted recently and still light on replies, so yours won't land under three hundred others.
Each badge shows the author's follower count and how many replies the post has so far. Click it and X's reply box opens with three drafts for that post already coming in.
the best distribution channel for indie hackers is still replying to people bigger than you.
we killed our free plan and revenue went up. not saying you should. saying we did.
gm. building something new, stay tuned
Free: Radar badges
Badges are free on every plan, including when you haven't signed up. Set your topics and follower floor once, then scroll as usual.
Pro: Radar list + target accounts
A ranked list of the best posts you've scrolled past this session sits at the bottom of the screen, each with a Draft reply button. Target accounts are handles you pick, and their posts count as on-topic whatever they're about.
Scoring runs in your browser · No extra requests to X · Nothing is posted for you
Why replies_
When your account is small, your own posts mostly go unseen. A good reply under a bigger post gets read by that post's audience, and some of those people tap through to your profile. The catch is volume: it takes a lot of replies, and each one has to say something. ReplyKit does the two slow parts for you. It finds posts worth answering, and it writes three short drafts you can pick from and edit.
ReplyKit is a side project I build and maintain on my own. The Feedback link in the extension comes straight to me, and I read every message, so if something breaks or a draft comes out wrong, tell me there.
Frederic Legrand
@FredericTheTallOne button, three drafts_
Hit ✨ Reply and ReplyKit reads the post, then picks the move that fits: a joke on an exact detail, a true insider fact, a counterexample, a question, or warm agreement with something added. You get three different drafts as cards. Pick one and hit Insert, or Retry for three new ones. Want a direction? Tap 😂 Funny, 🧠 Insight, 👍 Agree or ⚡ Push back first. The drafts below are real outputs; the posts are shortened and the accounts are made up.
Did your last “agent” actually need to be an agent?
most of them were a cron job and a regex wearing a trench coat
Launched on Product Hunt. 22 upvotes, 48 visitors, 0 sales. What am I missing?
of the 48 visitors, how many clicked through to your actual site? that number tells you if the listing or the product is the problem.
I asked Codex to fix my PC lagging. It couldn't. Claude's fix worked.
claude basically walked into the room, found the other contractor's work, and billed for removing it
Cognition just dropped SWE-2. 50% on FrontierCode. 10x cheaper. Fewer steps.
is the 10x on cost per task or cost per token? fewer steps only saves money if the failed runs aren't the ones you're averaging out.
On your phone too_
Chrome extensions don't run on phones, so there's a web app. Open it on iOS or Android, paste the post you want to answer, and get a draft. On Android you can also share a post from X, LinkedIn or Reddit straight into it. Radar needs the desktop extension.
Open the web app →You stay in control_
X's rules restrict automated posting, liking and following, and tools that do those things put your account at risk. ReplyKit only writes suggestions. Whether anything gets posted is always your call.
ReplyKit won't
- ✕ Post, reply, like or follow on your behalf
- ✕ Ask for your X, LinkedIn or Reddit password
- ✕ Touch your followers or your DMs
- ✕ Send extra requests to X to find posts
ReplyKit will
- ✓ Write drafts when you ask for them. You pick one, edit it and post it yourself
- ✓ Score posts using only what's already loaded in your tab: the post, its counts, and the author's follower count
- ✓ Keep Radar's scoring in your browser. When you ask for a draft, it sends the post you're answering, the thread above it, your saved topics and writing settings, and your own draft if you use Polish
Getting started_
Install the extension
Add it from the Chrome Web Store. You don't need an account or an email to start.
Set your topics
Tell ReplyKit what you post about, separated by commas. Radar uses that list to decide which posts are in your niche.
Reply
Click a Radar badge, or open any reply box and hit ✨ Reply. Pick one of the three drafts, edit it if you like, then post it yourself.
What you get_
Opportunity Radar
Badges X posts on your topics, from accounts above your follower floor, that don't have many replies yet. Click a badge to open the reply with drafts on the way.
One Reply button
It reads the post and picks the move that fits: a joke on an exact detail, a true insider fact, a counterexample, a question, or warm agreement with something added. Steer it with 😂 Funny, 🧠 Insight, 👍 Agree or ⚡ Push back if you want.
Three drafts every time
Each generation shows three different replies as cards. Pick one and hit Insert. Retry gives you three new ones.
Short and specific
Usually one sentence, about what the post actually says. No lecturing, no made-up stats, no em dashes or "it's not X, it's Y". It replies in the post's language.
Thread context
It reads up to five posts above the one you're answering, so the reply follows the conversation instead of the last line.
Three platforms
X, LinkedIn and Reddit, each with its own prompt. Radar is X only for now.
Polish my draft
Wrote your own reply, or your own post from an empty composer? Polish my draft tightens it and keeps your point.
Your topics
Say once what you post about. Radar uses that list to decide which posts are in your niche.
